Naval fighting between  French frigate BELLE POULE and the English frigate ARETHUSE on June 17th, 1778. The French victory, had at that time a considerable impact in France. In Versailles ladies show off wearing the famous hairstyle "Belle Poule".

Condition:
Good, no cracks or chips,  just a little enamels flaking on the wing.
Authentic and no restoration.
